Community Mural Butler Gas

We have begun the process of working on one of the first community murals in Penn Hills. Amanda Power has come up with the mural concept using Zentangle artwork from students and community members. The background has been hand painted by teachers, students & volunteers from the community. We will be installing hot air balloons that will include a collage of artwork by students from Linton and the PHHS. There are additional volunteers that have added their artwork as well. We plan on starting the next portion within the next few weeks. Additional contributions are appreciated. We are adding some surprises to the mural as well. The mural is located at the corner of Verona Rd & Sandycreek in Penn Hills. Thank you to those who have contributed. I'm sure that when the mural is completed, we will have over 100 participants. We are also working on gardens surrounding the mural and are still looking for a project manager to keep our project looking its best. Click on photo below to learn about Zentangle.
